Full certification STOTT PILATES ® instructorCarlo is a Pilates passionista and musculoskeletal specialist who loves to inspire others. His affection for Pilates was born after a dance injury when he discovered the benefits of spinal rehabilitation through the Pilates method. His eye for precision and attention to detail stems from his career as a professional ballet dancer and from years of teaching movement to professional dancers and athletes.
Carlo is a GoSC registered Osteopath and a Level 3 REPS fully certified STOTT PILATES® instructor. He trained at the STOTT PILATES® Training Centre in Toronto, Canada. He specialises in special Populations and injuries, including Pilates for scoliosis, osteoporosis management and ante/post-natal populations. He is also a qualified Xtend Barre Workout® instructor. By integrating different approaches to fitness and rehabilitation Carlo loves to challenge his clients whether they are an athlete or recovering from an injury.
Carlo can help boost your conditioning performance and will carefully work with you to achieve your personal fitness goals through contemporary Pilates and bespoke personal training.
He is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® instructor, a certified Yoga instructor and a Barre instructor. He has also completed additional Pilates training with BASI Pilates, Polestar Pilates, and Courtney Miller. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his classes, having also studied a Bachelor of Arts and Science majoring in Anatomy and Music.
Chrisen’s approach to fitness is fun, functional and challenging. His classes are filled with warmth, encouragement and positivity. He has a distinctive style with his attention to detail, his creative variations on traditional Pilates exercises and his attention to self-awareness. He is very passionate about the precision of each exercise to maximise his client’s results, mastery and well-being. Aside from teaching Pilates, Yoga or Barre, Chrisen is also a musician and needs regular stillness and serenity to fuel his busy lifestyle. In his spare time, you will find him moving at a slower pace – singing, playing piano and finding quiet time by taking delight in long walks around the city.
Elisha Elliott – Master Instructor – STOTT PILATES ® Instructor TrainerElisha discovered Pilates while completing her journalism diploma in Australia. She spent her college breaks taking multiple classes until her habit became an obsession, and then ultimately, a change in career path. Elisha studied to become a MERRITHEW™ Instructor Trainer, specialising in STOTT PILATES® and Core Athletic Conditioning and Performance Training, a Cert IV personal trainer, and more recently trained in Xtend Barre, also becoming a Teacher Trainer for the method. Elisha taught in Sydney, Australia for 6 years, spent 5 years in the Middle East and moved to London in May of 2016. A love of all things competitive and a need to stay mentally and physically stimulated has seen her compete at a national level in swimming, run a half marathon and more recently fall in love with CrossFit and Weightlifting. Elisha takes this same approach in her teaching; striving to stay interesting, entertaining and never teaching the same class twice.
Zsofia felt the need to share her experiences and started the Stott Pilates certification program for mat and equipment in 2009, where the basis of the training includes the modern principals of exercise science and rehabilitation. This felt like a natural progression to her dance career and has been teaching group and one-on-one classes ever since. With a keen eye and attention to detail she’s a true inspiration as a teacher. Her favourite quote from Joseph Pilates is: ‘Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness’
During her intensive ballet training, ‘Pilates’ was most certainly adopted and this is how Aimee was first introduced to the incredible form of exercise, Pilates.
Aimee has always been great believer in the wonderful creation of Pilates, So last year she embarked on the highly regarded Stott Pilates training in both Reformer and Matt and understands there beautiful classical approach because of her background. Aimee believes that Pilates can be applied to varied physical standards,different individual shapes and sizes and is fantastic to bring internal muscular awareness to the body. She considers that the benefits of Pilates is amazing, where do you start, the list is endless!
Katie Gibson – STOTT PILATES® Certified InstructorKatie was introduced to Pilates as a young ballet student in The United States. Throughout her fifteen-year professional ballet career with the San Francisco Ballet, Miami City Ballet and Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Pilates played an integral part in her conditioning and rehabilitation during injury. Even though unable to perform and rehearse during times of injury, the Pilates method helped her return to ballet as a stronger dancer with more control of her movement. She believes her practice of Pilates allowed for the longevity of her career and healed her from the injuries doctors deemed as career ending.In pursuit to help dancers prevent and recover from injury, Katie began her STOTT PILATES® training in 2013 and has obtained her Certification in Mat and Reformer. Regardless of age, body shape, profession and lifestyle, Katie encourages all students to explore the transformational benefits of Pilates and the ongoing discovery of new movement within the body. She fully promotes Joseph Pilates’ belief that, “Change happens through movement and movement heals”.
Riccardo Vitello – STOTT PILATES® Certified InstructorRiccardo is an international contemporary dancer and originally came to London in 2004 to study at the London School of Contemporary Dance. He trained in STOTT PILATES® mat and reformer in London and teaches all over London. He likes to tailor classes to suit his clients needs, bringing humor to each class so that you can have fun whilst working hard. He can also teach his classes in Italian and French!
Paola Langella – STOTT PILATES® Certified InstructorPaola started to study STOTT PILATES® in London after a neck injury that ended her dancing career. She believes Pilates exercise to be a miracle for the body that can help people to get the body and mind in the shape they desire. As a qualified STOTT PILATES® instructor, Paola’s Pilates reformer classes offer a full workout by mobilising and working every single muscle of the body without building muscule bulk but achieving a long and lean shape.
